NBA ALL STAR VOTING RESULTS 2018 – LOS ANGELES

Under the new format, two captains (LeBron James and Stephen Curry) drafted the 2018 All-Star Teams from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves, making selections without taking into account the conference affiliation.

The captains were the All-Star Starter from each Conference, who received the most fan votes in the respective Conference. The new system will enable players from each Conference to play against each other and will allow current teammates to face off.

The process for selecting the 24 All-Stars will remain the same, with 12 players from each conference.  The 10 starters – two guards and three frontcourt players per Conference – will continue to be chosen by a combination of fans (50% of the vote), current players (25%) and basketball media (25%). For additional info, please refer to the Voting Homepage.

The NBA’s head coaches selected 14 reserves, voting for two guards, three frontcourt players and two players regardless of their position in their respective conferences.

• Warriors Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant leaded the Western ballot.
